Toastmaster for Learning English and Public Speaking

Merry Christmas 2011 & Happy New Year 2012 from JLTC

Dear Fellow Toastmasters & Friends,
On behalf of JLTC, we – Excos & Members would like to wish you all friends who celebrate :
Keep on Moving, Progressing & Achieving the Best!
Sharing our JLTC year-end 15 December 2011 meaningful, fun, and enjoyable meeting :
DTM Arlan Setiawan gave an insightful presentation on “WHEN TO QUIT YOUR DAY JOB?” and sharing about his past experience on starting his business from very simple ladder which then grew to high-end the only product in the world.
Hence, he encouraged toastmaster fellow-attendants to dare to try doing business starting from our respective PASSION.  He further adviced that we need not analyze too much, but just do it!
Most important thing is, we need to keep on learning, observing, improving, then we could constantly grow.  He is such a down-to-earth successful businessman 🙂 We were really lucky to be able to hear and learn from DTM Arlan’s speech.
JLTC attendants were again lucky to have DTM Wardiman Djoyonegoro sharing a “long” table topic master speech (LOL 🙂  The question was “Could you share your accomplishments wisdom to the young generations?    The answer was responded by DTM Wardiman’s sharing of his life story whilst he was young till he accomplished being Minister of Education and enjoyed his golden days joining 7 clubs and accomplishing 7 times of being DTM!  Wooow,  such fascinating!
Despite all the accomplishments, DTM Wardiman is a low-profile person and toastmaster. So, who wants to follow after DTM Wardiman for being a Distinguished Toastmaster for 7 times ?
Other enjoyable moments were that we celebrated 3 Excos’ birthday : President Dewi, VPE Herwin and Secretary Maria Megawati.
Happy birthday to three of you and may you be blessed with sound health, growing business/career, happiness & prosperity.
We were glad to have our distinguished guest, Mr Thomas Yoseph, a book writer of APPS digital marketing and also TM Lingga joining our year-end club meeting. We look forward to having your coming more often to our JLTC meetings in the future.
